PHOTOGRAPHS

During our archival journey, we collected and digitised photos of women that have appeared in women magazines from the period. As the project grows, we are hoping to expand and build biographies of the women we have found. These woman are not just writers, but activists, educators and other figures who were active in the public sphere. These photographs are mostly from 1930s.
